When you walk around Dongdaemun, you often find yourself surrounded by busy looking people and baggages, luggages lying around the street. Haven’t you ever wondered ‘what’s going on?’, ‘Where have all these stuff come from and where are they going?’
The guy is a ‘quick service man’ unloading the products delivered from the factories to be sent to the wholesalers in the complex.
The guys in red vests loading the cargo to the trolleys are preparing to deliver them to the customers who had previously ordered the items from upstairs wholesalers.
The baggages placed against the wall belong to customers from outside Seoul. They are kept in one place so customers can go around looking for more items in different complexes without having to drag them around.
The small packages are items that need exchange of colors or with defects. They are collected region by region to be sent back to Dongdaemun.
